While minted in large quantities, perfect MS-70 or Proof-70 certified examples command premiums from collectors. Early years and low-mintage burnished or reverse-proof varieties are also highly sought after.
Grading Guidelines
Bullion coins are graded primarily on the Sheldon 70-point scale. Perfect specimens (70) must show absolutely no trace of marks, hairlines, or planchet defects even under 5x magnification.
