We're a small operation and our privacy posture matches — we collect only what we need to ship your coins and follow up on your orders, and we don't sell or share any of it. Plain terms, not lawyer copy.
What we collect
- Account info. Email address (to sign you in via magic link) and any name / shipping address you've added to your account.
- Orders. What coins you've bought, when, and for how much. We keep this indefinitely because it's your purchase history and ours.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — only the last four digits Stripe returns for receipts.
- Offers, wishlists, saved searches. Tied to your account, visible only to you and to Mike.
- Minimal analytics. Page views and coin views, aggregated, with no third-party trackers. We use the data to decide which categories to buy more of — not to retarget you across the internet.
What we don't do
No ad networks, no retargeting pixels, no selling data to third parties, no cross-site tracking, no "partners." If you get an email from us, it's because you placed an order, made an offer, or asked to be notified about a specific coin or search.
Delete my data
Email mike@snowpackcoins.com with the subject "delete my data" from the address on your account. We'll scrub your contact info from our systems within seven days. Order records are kept for tax and accounting purposes (IRS requires seven-year retention), but purged of personally-identifying details beyond what's legally required.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cart cookie so your cart persists between pages, and a "last visited" timestamp so the site can flag coins listed since you last came by. No advertising cookies.
Changes
If this page changes materially, active account holders get an email. This version was last updated on the day of the most recent deploy — see site footer for effective date.
