How the want list works
Numismatics is a game of patience and connections. Many of the most desirable coins never make it to a public listing — they are bought and sold directly between dealers or placed with collectors who have let their needs be known.
By joining our want list, you put a dedicated set of eyes on the market. Here is how we help you:
- National Sourcing Network. We attend every major coin convention (ANA, FUN, CSNS, Long Beach) and trade regularly with top-tier wholesale dealers. We know who holds the material and where to find original skin coins.
- First Right of Refusal. When we acquire a coin that matches your want list description, we will contact you directly with photos and pricing before the coin is listed publicly on our store.
- No Sourcing Fees. Sourcing is part of our business. If we find your coin, we buy it outright, grade-verify it, and offer it to you at a fair retail price. If you decide to pass, we list it in our general inventory — no obligation, no fee.
- Eye Appeal Commitment. We pass on lifeless, cleaned, or over-dipped coins. We will only source coins that meet our standard of original surfaces and beautiful patina.
