The Trade dollar (1873–1885) was minted for commerce in Asia and is the only U.S. coin ever officially demonetized. Proof-only dates (1879–1885) are major rarities; business-strike San Francisco issues are the most available. We carry certified examples across both Proof and business-strike types.
