Rarity & Key Dates
Key dates include the 1916 Standing Liberty quarter (only 52,000 minted) and the 1932-D and 1932-S Washington quarters. Standing Liberty quarters with a "Full Head" (FH) are highly sought after due to the difficulty in fully striking the details of Liberty's head.
Grading Guidelines
Standing Liberty quarters are graded based on the wear on the shield and knees on the obverse. A "Full Head" (FH) designation is awarded by PCGS/NGC if the three parts of Liberty's hair, ear, and helmet details are completely struck and visible.
